What is an Assessment?
Our assessment is basically overall a clinical overview to determine what type of mental or behavioral health services will be most appropriate for a client. The patient’s past medical and mental health history will be discussed, as well as any previous drug or alcohol abuse. Family or friends are more than welcomed to attend during the process, since it truly can help in terms of support.
Once the assessment is completed, we then determine what types of programs would be most beneficial. We offer inpatient, outpatient and partial programs for individuals in Larimer County, as well as the surrounding regions. The certified clinician will then consult with one of our mental health professionals or psychiatrists and then a determination will be made on specific treatment.
How do I schedule an assessment?
Anyone can contact us: a friend, family member or the patient themselves, and your assessment will be completely confidential. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are completely able to answer all of your questions.
We will ask you a series of questions, and then determine what action should or should not be taken.
